The PowerHouse® Bike app is designed to enhance cycling performance through the integration of cycling sensor data provided by the PowerPod® BLE power meter, available at www.velocomp.com.

Achieve Your Cycling Goals with Step-by-Step Guidance

Regardless of whether you are an experienced cyclist or new to the sport, the PowerHouse Bike app offers structured plans aimed at significantly improving your cycling performance and fitness. Users can select from six goal-oriented programs: “iSlim®,” “Express Fitness,” “CycleMax,” “Weekend Warrior,” “Zero to 20” (miles), and “Brazilian Butt.”

Each program consists of workouts lasting between 45 to 90 minutes over a duration of five to seven weeks. The workouts are tailored to meet the specific goals of the plan while also accommodating the user’s individual fitness level. For instance, a beginner may commence with lower intensity, while a more advanced cyclist will engage at a higher intensity but with comparable levels of challenge.

During each ride, cyclists pedal at designated intervals and targeted efforts, guided by the visual feedback from the app. To maintain progress, users must keep the PowerHouse pointer within specified ranges.

Each plan includes a complimentary Fitness Test (FTP test) and access to the first workout free of charge. Most plans offer between 50-60 distinct workouts; subsequent access requires a nominal one-time in-app purchase of $9.99.

The PowerHouse Bike app leverages cutting-edge technology in power measurement and coaching, integrating artificial intelligence to help cyclists achieve their training objectives while enhancing their enjoyment of the sport. Access is limited to data sourced from the PowerPod® BLE power meter available at www.velocomp.com.

The app employs established power-zone interval training techniques, allowing users to cycle at balanced intensities dictated by real-time feedback. This format facilitates both exercise and recovery phases throughout each workout session.

While challenging, PowerHouse Bike workouts are customized according to individual fitness levels, making them accessible for all users.

Expertly Designed Fitness Plans

The fitness plans and workouts are crafted by Hunter Allen, a renowned authority in power cycling coaching with over two decades of experience training cyclists from novices to Olympians. His expertise is reflected through audio and video coaching tips provided throughout each workout to maximize user performance.

Sharing Progress

Users can share their cycling achievements by uploading rides directly to platforms such as Strava.

Comprehensive Tracking

The app includes a built-in calendar feature that records training rides and fitness tests, enabling users to monitor their progress systematically over time.

Engagement Beyond Training

Even outside scheduled training sessions, users can engage with the app's “Free Ride” functionality, which displays vital statistics such as speed, cadence, distance, calories burned, current power output, average power, and current power zone. Additionally, users can control their music settings directly from the PowerHouse Bike interface.
