Regardless of whether you are an experienced cyclist or new to the sport, the PowerHouse Bike app offers structured plans aimed at significantly improving your cycling performance and fitness. Users can select from six goal-oriented programs: “iSlim®,” “Express Fitness,” “CycleMax,” “Weekend Warrior,” “Zero to 20” (miles), and “Brazilian Butt.”
Each program consists of workouts lasting between 45 to 90 minutes over a duration of five to seven weeks. The workouts are tailored to meet the specific goals of the plan while also accommodating the user’s individual fitness level. For instance, a beginner may commence with lower intensity, while a more advanced cyclist will engage at a higher intensity but with comparable levels of challenge.
During each ride, cyclists pedal at designated intervals and targeted efforts, guided by the visual feedback from the app. To maintain progress, users must keep the PowerHouse pointer within specified ranges.
Each plan includes a complimentary Fitness Test (FTP test) and access to the first workout free of charge. Most plans offer between 50-60 distinct workouts; subsequent access requires a nominal one-time in-app purchase of $9.99.
